Manufacturing Process

  1. Harvesting and cutting of mature bamboo stalks.
  2. Boiling of stalks (with boric acid) to eliminate its sugar content so as not to attract termites
  3. The stalks are dried.
  4. The strands are flattened, crushed and pressed with the use of 2000-ton heat pressure that operates at 265 F. (No waste, all bamboo is used)
  5. Binding stalks together by using adhesive, the result is a dense plank of bamboo that resembles landscape timber.
  6. Cutting planks into 6” length.
  7. Milling process takes place so all four (4) sides of the flank are groove.
  8. Planks can now slide into one another and can be joined together.


There are three simple ways to install woven strand bamboo flooring. This makes it very appealing, suitable and versatile for do-it-yourself installation.

  • By directly gluing it to a sub-floor.
  • Through Floating Installation by laying it on an existing thin foam mat or sub-floor.
  • By nailing or stapling the woven strand bamboo flooring to the sub-floor.
